Available as a stand alone chassis (each media converter has to be powered by its own power supply) or a redundant chassis (the chassis has 2 power bank slots one installed with a PSU and the other bank is blanked - additional PSU purchased separately for bank 2) and means the media converters get supplied power from the PSU bank and do not require their own power supplies. This reduces the amount of plugs used in a multi populated chassis. ***NOT SUITABLE FOR POE APPLICATIONS***
